Tanya Taylor was raised in Toronto, where she was surrounded by three generations of fiercely ambitious fashionistas whose creative approach inspired her from an early age. Taylor attended McGill, graduating with a degree in finance. And as both designer and CEO of her company, there is no doubt that Taylor is as business savvy as she is gifted designer. Based in New York, Tanya embodies the energy of youth combined with the integrity of cultivated design.

Taylor is known for her bold use of print and color paired with a ladylike edge. Going from an industry unknown to near-darling within the span of year, Taylor found fans in the highest places - including the first lady herself. And in 2014, the young designer made the shortlist for the prestigious CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund.

Never one to shy away from the bold, bright prints, Tanya Taylor took her love of texture and color to new heights for her Autumn/Winter 2016 collection. A veritable garden of embroidered Swarovski crystallized flowers peppered looks from jackets to skirts, playing against oversized plaids and bouquet imagery which dominated in the collection’s lighter take on autumnal fashion.

Tanya Taylor's Spring/Summer 2016 collection was an electric ode to Taylor's inspiring trip to Kenya, with pieces that embraced rich textures and patterns and electric color combinations. Floral motifs, translated with Swarovski pearl embellishments, added dimension to several key pieces.
