Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos are two creative forces that have come together to form the Peter Pilotto fashion house. Pilotto is half-Austrian, half-Italian and De Vos is half-Belgian, half-Peruvian. Their fusion of cultures is reflected on their catwalk, in sensuous combinations of constructed and flowing silhouettes. Couture fabrics, form-enhancing cuts and intricately engineered prints are all parts of the label's enduring signature.

Pilotto and De Vos met during studies at Antwerp’s prestigious Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 2000, under the tutelage of famed Belgian designer Walter van Beirendonck. In 2007, they joined forces, presenting their first collaborative collection under the Peter Pilotto label for Spring/Summer 2008.

The Peter Pilotto signature of graphic, kaleidoscopic and technically innovative print originated from Pilotto's graduation collection at the Antwerp Academy, but have been refined season upon season. Each print is created in-house, entirely unique to the label, and to every garment. The graphics map the body, flattering and redefining the contours of the female form. Combined with elegant and innovative cutting, draping and tailoring, the result is a unique wardrobe of exceptional clothing for the twenty-first century woman.

Pilotto’s wintry collection took inspiration from a crisp, Nordic winter; a departure from the bright colors of his peers. The designer featured gauzy looks intermixed with Swarovski crystallized pantsuits and tops with off-the-shoulder cuts with ski-trail patterns. Pilotto's latest jewelry collection, 'Arbol', debuted on the runway, featuring crowns of crystal vines and simple, graphic nods to modern art.

Designers Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos played with densely detailed Chantilly and layered macramé French laces in their latest collection for Spring/Summer 2016. Brightly-colored Swarovski crystal shone from ornately patterned dresses, and sat alongside the menswear inspired zippers juxtaposed against tiers of light Mediterranean ruffles.

Adopting a playful and fresh take on womenswear, Peter Pilotto's Fall/Winter 2015 Collection was full of cheerful colors like bright blue, green, and pink combined with sleek silhouettes. Several stand-out pieces incorporated statement patterns embellished with Swarovski crystals.

Simple silhouettes embroidered with bold resin and crystal shapes brought the Summer of Love back to life in the Peter Pilotto collection.

“It was important for us to use classical components such as Harris tweed, Liberty prints and Swarovski crystals but make it ours. We created a tweed pattern with the crystals and loved the intensely glowing colours those crystals added to those pieces.
